Getting outside and taking some branding pictures can be a great way to take advantage of the scenic Arizona backdrop and the natural light. Sometimes, however, you simply don’t want to deal with a session out on the town. That’s when it’s time to consider a studio session! As a Scottsdale branding photographer, I get to work both in the studio and out in the city. Here’s why you might want to consider using a photography studio in Scottsdale, AZ for your session.
It’s not exactly a secret that Arizona gets hot. There are times in the summer when the temps reach close to 120 degrees! Not only is this uncomfortable, but it can also be unsafe. If you don’t feel like waiting for October in Scottsdale, AZ and don’t want to turn into a literal melty face emoji, a studio photography session might just be for you. Come on inside. I have AC!
One thing I have realized as a Scottsdale, AZ photographer is how crucial client comfort is, even in the studio. When someone feels awkward, it’s going to show in pictures. Sometimes, you don’t feel like dealing with people stopping and staring at you while you are stunting. When you book a session at a studio, you don’t have to worry about nosy onlookers simply because they aren’t anywhere to be seen!
When you are outside, there are probably about a million other things catching your attention including bugs and onlookers. And even if you do keep your laser focus on your session, some of those things might come across in the finished product, taking clients’ eyes off of you. If you don’t want to deal with post-processing options, you are going to love the simplicity of a studio!
Most of my Scottsdale, AZ branding clients choose to have a few outfits throughout their photography session for some added variety. Unfortunately, when you are dealing with outdoor sessions, wardrobe changes aren’t really an option. With studio sessions, you aren’t going to have to deal with rapid outfit transformations inside a cramped bathroom, and you will have more flexibility to actually style your look.
Sure, the interior might not have that gorgeous natural sunlight, but we can still set up the optimal lighting for your ideal session so you can have the perfect glow. As a result, you won’t have to spend all of your time on Google reviews ahead of your session, checking the forecast or looking up your favorite coffee shop to see if they have enough lighting.
Because the lighting is so controlled in this setting, you don’t have to worry about what time you schedule your pics. Sure, chasing down the golden hour can be pretty dreamy, but when you are growing your brand, you don’t have time to wait for the sun to set. With studio sessions, you can schedule your pics any time of day!
If you have been debating booking a session in a photography studio in Scottsdale, AZ, I hope this helps you see all the benefits! And if you still need to book your studio sesh, let’s chat! As a Scottsdale branding photographer, I love working with my clients to give them gorgeous pictures both in and out of the studio. Let’s have a conversation so you can decide if I am the one to help you grow your brand!
