These days, short-form videos are all the rage. Most of us spend more time than we care to admit watching TikToks, Reels, and Shorts. So, why not use this kind of media to grow your brand? So here is how video content helps you strengthen your brand.
Most likely, you have spent some time studying SEO, but if you haven’t, this just means “Search Engine Optimization.” Basically, you are looking for ways to game the system and put your website at the top of searches. Websites like Google prioritize and strengthen websites and brands with video content in their search results. Not only are people more likely to land on your website, but videos are going to make them stay. When people see a video on your site, they are more likely to engage with it and spend longer here. Also, social media sites love videos, sending them to the top of the algorithm so more people know your name.
Who amongst us hasn’t turned to a video to see reviews or tutorials of potential products? Video content gives you the ability to help match your brand with real people, so you can add more authenticity to your brand. People can hear from clients and see testimonials. It also gives you a layer of transparency while helping your clients feel as though they truly know you. You just can’t build that same amount of trust with static images or written reviews!
If people feel emotionally connected to you, they are more likely to turn to your brand. By switching to video content, brands are able to find ways to resonate with their clients. You are no longer just a brand; you are a person putting in hours creating something truly unique! There are a few ways to use emotional storytelling through your videos. You can lead people through tutorials on how to use your product or tell people all about why you started this brand. Whenever your clients watch it, they are going to feel a connection that will leave them wanting to return.
Videos are going to give you every way to set yourself apart! We’ve already talked about how it will build trust and engage your clients. Beyond that, people are simply more likely to work with you when they feel like they know you. Additionally, it’s going to improve your marketing, increasing how many people open your newsletters and click through the entire thing. When you skip out on video content, you are giving space for someone else to come in and swoop up those precious interactions.
